Sure it's pure speculation at this point but any word on Antonio staying or leaving, or where he may lean? Seems obvious he might go undrafted. What y'all think?

Did he test the process last year?
Can't remember.

If LSU is offering JC guard I would say he's leaning towards leaving.

Hoping we get him back for another season, but I have no idea what he's gonna decide.

The buzz I've heard says hes leaving, hopefully Wade can keep him around. He was our only even remotely consistent player on both ends last year

If he leaves now I hope he enjoys playing in Europe.

If he leaves, next year isn't really going to be any better than this year regardless who is the coach

He will likely get drafted in 2nd round but will end up playing D league or overseas. Where do you play him in NBA? He can't guard at the off guard spot.

He didn't play D like Will Wade's teams play D.
Could be on coaching.
Wish he would come back so we could find out.

Offering the JUCO guard could mean the writing is on the wall but I'm really hoping Wade made the offer because the guard is too good to pass up. The roster needs a overhaul and if some of the guys that were non factors last year transfer and gets replaced with some decent talent, we might have an average team.

Has had a few stellar moments, with good coaching and a few more pieces I can see him being an effective leader. Be a good start for Wade

Looks like LSU sees the JUCO guy as a point guard, so it may have no bearing on Blakeney.

He did very briefly. Therefore, I think if he declares now it's for good. He can't come back.

The fact that LSU's first offer was to a JUCO SG seems to indicate the writing is on the wall for someone at that position from last year's team. LSU only has one open scholarship. You don't generally sign JUCO guys just for depth. You sign them to contribute immediately. With SG being arguably the most "set" position on the team (Blakeney and Sampson), I don't think you offer a JUCO unless you know one of them won't be back next season.

Is Darcy Malone going pro? He has just as good of a chance at being drafted as Blakeney...

pure speculation, but the JUCO PG could be a Patterson replacement. He could also take Bridgewater's spot, because I read a while back he was interested in trying football. Haven't seen much come about with that this spring though.

Guess you've never been to Europe. Playing basketball for a living in Europe is awesome. He could do a lot worse.

All I know is Wade needs to teach these guys how to D-up. JJ might as well have given all of our guards including Blakeney a red cape like we were at the bullfights or something.

Completely disagree. Next year they can play much better defense. They can play more discipline on offense. In short they can play better team basketball within a system and not lose 14 in a row.

This is what I'm hoping. Davis is a true PG that can shoot, so this might have nothing to do with Blakeney. He could possibly start next year. It shouldn't be hard for wade to get a JUCO or unsigned PF to join the class as well. All they have to do is outplay Simms to earn a starting spot

They will actually have a set offense to run and Wade will atleast make them try on defense. Wade is known for his "havoc" full court press, it will be interesting to see how that goes next year
