News Flash! Johnny Jones was horrible.

Johnny Jones develops talent. He developed Ben and Blakeney.

What exactly did he develop with Simmons in 6 months?

Yes, 7-15 shooting is a great game for ben Simmons. And 66% on his free throws, great, for Ben Simmons. Your standards are low. Wonder what an average game looks like, to you.

You do know there's more to basketball than shooting, right? There's passing (5 assists), rebounding (10 boards), defense (2 steals, 1 block). I wouldn't go so far as to call it a great game, but for a rookie's debut game it's pretty good even without great shooting.

Yes I do know that, thanks for the great insight. You forgot the turnover as well. I hardly call that a "GREAT" game. Guess you have low standards as well. He also isn't a rookie. He has been a "pro" for over a year.

People here also think that one of the most efficient QBs in the toughest conference should be benched in lieu of an unproven freshman QB who has thrown several picks in his limited playing time.

Its the rant. Lots of rantards.

Bulls will finish last in association.
12th man on turrble team.
Glad for him.
The one who surprised me was quarterman making a team. He was sent down to minors, traded, waived. Out of nba. No idea where he went.
A.B. is on thin ice. Being last man on one of the 3 worst teams does not leave room for error.

^ This is what going out of your way to be dumb looks like.

Meanwhile...

Simmons joined Grant Hill as the only players since 1983-84 to record at least 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists in their NBA debut.

Simmons is also the odds-on favorite for Rookie of the Year. TigerDroppings might be the only place in the country that is trying to take a dump on his debut.

I see you posted the tweet before my comment. Couldn't see it on the desktop but it came up on mobile. The fact that people on TD still try to diminish Simmons is absurd. He's got the make up of a stud in the NBA.

When our fans don't like a player, they carry that to the next level. Keep working hard young man and living your dream. Make the most if it AB.

Not sure why some people can't just say .... "my bad, i was wrong guys".

I think Ben Simmons sucks as a person. He's a damn good basketball player though.

He's on a two-way contract isn't he? At some point he'll get allocated to the G league.
