I figure since it's basketball season and after last night, here's a little look for next season to keep the momentum. I want people to see it, and more people will see it on here than the RB. So here's a look at AB!! Cannot fricken wait for this guy. Here's all 3 episodes:

Episode 1

Episode 2

Episode 3

I wonder where the money for those thousands of dollars of basketball shoes came from? He says his mother works hard to support them. Most have a good job.

They get lots of shoes through AAU and mentors. I'm not judging or anything, but kids, especially young basketball players, place a premium on shoes these days

AAU. Shoe companies love giving away stuff to promote their brand.

I thought the same thing......and those personal trainers/coaches that didn't seem to be affiliated with his school, too.

He gets them from Nike through AAU and as gifts for different tournaments he's been too. The best prospects always have a ton of high price, exclusive shoes. I'm sure Ben has a whole closet full of nothing but shoes.

They get them at big camps (Kobe, Lebron, KG) and AAU tournaments, and I am sure some are bought.

With high school basketball players of his caliber, this is not a sign of impropriety.

And these big camps. Don't they cost money to go to those? I'm not suggesting any breaking of rules. As you and others have pointed out, I am sure it is common practice.

To me it seems a little two faced to say that a college cannot give a kid money or gifts to come to their schools but they can receive them from other sources. Truth be told there probably isn't a big time football or basketball player in high school today who is truly an amateur.

When Lyle commits we are gonna be talking about a totally different team. Gonna have some serious talent on this squad next year.

Maybe LSU should hire the coach for strength conditioning.

Some kids just like the process I guess. Personally, I would commit as soon as possible to try and sway other kids (like Simmons did). However, many kids truly do not know where they are going

People on this board are far too confident that LSU lands him. I think LSU would be considered the favorite, but he's not a lock.
