How well did Jennings manage to do with 3 NFL wide receivers last year?

7/19 82 yards 0 TD 1 INT

What are we doing wrong?

After reading many of your posts over the last few days, I've determined that you're a fricking moron.

And it was raining...but it is still very similar. I'm having a harder and harder time with this.

I haven't read his posts, but this thread is legit IMO. Bama makes average QBs look like Heisman candidates. Literally. Jennings is pretty terrible.

No, it's not. He's referencing the bowl game.

Look, I will agree all day that Jennings is not a great QB - no argument.

But to throw out stats from the bowl game is silly. Mett basically never came out last year, and Jennings had very little time to get ready to play a very good defense in less than great weather conditions. That game would have been tough for a lot of back-up QB's coming in.

I see what you're saying and agree to an extent. But a bowl game gives you more time to prepare than a regular season game. He had, what, a month or so before that game? Don't remember the exact date.

You'd think he'd have at least 100 yards passing with that offense…

There is a calendar month, but you only get so many practices during that time. And I think it's something like 13-15 practices...

It was his first start, in a bowl game, great D, shitty weather...and he's not great.

A year later and he has similar stats.

I agree with all of that. It's mind blowing to think how at this time last year, he was just as good as he is right now. No progression. IDK who is to blame for that TBH.

Had to keep play calling simple, and it was against one of the best defenses in the country. Quit crying, wuss.

Yeah, like I said, no arguments from me on how he is today.

QB coach has to take some responsibility when you have a guy make 0 progression. All we hear is how hard AJ works, in the film room, staying after practice, etc…

mind blowing

i dont think jennings stats from the outback bowl should matter when jeremy hill had almost 30 carries and 200 yards

Great is probably not the word. He's not even competent.

Maybe Rummy shouldn't have sent me a personal message to calm down after last years bowl game. I was posting that our offense was heading back to 2009. I guess even I underestimated how bad it would be.

He actually started off good and they were scared as hell to let him try anything. He turned really bad in the second half though.

to tell you the truth, I have no idea.
