Another Reason to Hate Florida / Weaseling out of game vs. Stetson

A story posted on Stetson's athletics website takes a dim view of Florida's refusal to play ball after a nearly two-hour rain delay Tuesday night, with the Gators trailing 10-1 in the fifth inning.
Eighth-ranked Florida also declined to resume the game at a later date, despite two available open dates, Stetson said. The result: "The game effectively did not happen," Stetson baseball grumbled in a tweet.

Two things:
1) No one should be surprised. Just be thankful LSU wasn't involved in any way as our AD would have likely given THEM the W instead.
2) UF already beat us. In fact, pretty much embarrassed us for 2 games and blew the third in late innings. So we really shouldn't comment.

They used our AD, then beat our cocky, overrated team in football. Now we are going there for two straight seasons.
Then they beat us in baseball. Should have swept our overrated team.

I still can't believe we lost that game. We were basically toying with them and couldn't punch it in. One of the most upsetting losses in a long time. I put it up with Arkansas 2010 because we should have won and lost out on a potential Sugar Bowl.

Despite whatever turn of events happened we still lost to them at home so I'd have to agree with them.
Doesn't mean I don't hate their guts tho. The whole debacle elevated them to 2nd most hated SEC team for me.

Florida used us in the same fashion in football and WE ALLOWED IT. Not only did we allow it, we cheered it on thanks to our AD. Now our football program has a much harder schedule next year due to it.
Fact.
Another fact: Their baseball team humiliated our baseball team a week after they were SWEPT, at home, by an unranked Auburn team. We went to that same setting a week later and were lucky to win a game.
Truth hurts, doesn't it?
