I seem to recall that Lee always looked better in practice last year also. He is a talented player but last year he did his best work in practice, not in games. Regardless, I'm glad that Lee is playing well. We will need him this year.

As someone else said, if the slow JL is already looking better at the option, there will be no dual threat this year.

thats not the quote said though. They quote said he throws better pitches, probably easier to do at a slow speed. Lee is not a threat to cut it up field like JJ showed he can do last season

Ya right. I'm sure Lee is much better running with the football than Jefferson. What a joke.

Its not just who the better runner is, but a successful game plan. We all saw what happened when teams stacked the box on JJ. He wasnt effective on the ground or the air.
JJ; 2nd half stats --

Ark -- 47 yds passing, -11 rushing
GTech - 24 yds passing, 3 rushing

Bert Jones wasn't a running qb. I guess he couldn't play either.

yeah, you're right.

Jarrett Lee is MUCH more of a running threat than Jordan Jefferson.

You don't really live in reality do you?

You HONESTLY think jarrett lee is a better fit for the option play than jordan jefferson?

I didnt start the thread.

No, I do not believe that.

The thread is about JJ not being a consistent option QB (the myth)

I would attribute your lastest rambling to the recent knock on your head, but it so similar to your usual logic, I just cant tell.

Do you?

It wasn’t the sharpest morning for quarterback Jordan Jefferson. In the quarterback-receiver drills of the practice’s open period, Jefferson was observed over-shooting Brandon LaFell on two of three pass attempts.

Jarrett Lee on the other hand appeared dialed in this morning delivering pass after pass right on the money.
