Its a real one you can look at the way its cut. The only way to get a real is to buy it from the LSU gift shop when they sell old ones every year.

purple, not sure of the year. I bought it 3 years ago I think.

Definitely a real jersey. I have one identical to it, a white #27 Curtis Taylor. Still got a couple helmet marks on the shoulder pad area. You can tell by the way the shoulder area is designed. Difference between the two is mine has Taylor on the back, while this is blank. That makes me a little skeptical.

LSU sold purple jerseys in 2005 void of the name. I got Buster Davis's jersey. LSU cannot sell a jersey with the name on the back if it is being sold while the player is still at LSU. After a player is gone you can sell it with the name. I own 1 purple, 4 white and 2 gold jerseys. All but two have names on back.
