Annual, why does the SEC let Miss St fans slide with cowbells thread...

You knew someone would post it, so I figured I would first.
I don't understand how this is still accepted. If everyone went to the stadium with fog horns it's basically the same thing. You think they would allow those in Tiger Stadium?

It is outlawed but it's one of those rules that is severely overlooked. Just have it in your back pocket when you walk in, not your front pocket

Coach O was interviewed this morning on ESPN U radio and asked the same questions. He said he loves the cowbells and its part of SEC tradition.

If you suck as bad as State you get a little something different. If they couldn't custom paint their cowbells and bring them to the game to show all their State friends, they wouldn't have 679 people come to the games.

Actually if you listen they sound like they go by the band rule. They stop just before offense runs the play.
