He was good at teaching hitting the ball where it was pitched, and hitting with 2 strikes. Also great at coaching base running.

Why do these threads keep popping up? Cannizzaro is NEVER going to coach at a top notch baseball program again.
You can’t text your side piece during games and then lie to your AD when asked about it. Especially when you are using a school phone when doing so and all texts can be looked at and analyzed.

LSU is an elite baseball program.
So let's say we're a Duke/Kansas/UK in basketball or an Alabama in football.
What if one of those teams hired a disgraced former coach that has never had sustained D1 success and is now coaching a high school to be their new head coach?

If that coach is the best fit to continue the program's success then the Dukes/KUs/UKs and Bamas of the world would not care!

Well we hired an unemployed DL coach shortly after he was given a break by Lesticles once no heavy hitters wanted the job.
And despite 2019, his reputation is in the middle of the pack for SEC coaches.
But for a shoe throw, 2020 was a complete nightmare and headed for a 3 - 7 season.
