I will tell you this. The Option will not be there for LSU in the CS game. The running game will be from the Tackles to the inside. Good Luck with that.

Go back and watch the way LSU establishes the run. The option success is not there early. It comes as the DL and LBs wear down and are not able to get to the corners. THIS is the reason Les rotates RBs as the game moves along....preserve the legs. Bama will be more ready this time, however, I trust there will be some surprising wrinkles thrown in to keep Bama on their toes and intended to wear them down over time.

I do not believe that anyone will / can beat a talented Nick Saban Team twice in a short period of time.
I think it is great how much pub this is getting as well as how great Nick does at preparing his teams for bowl games.

We have time to get ready and we will get ready. You just sit back and relax.

Congratulations to LSU for the SEC Championship... LSU has the most talented group of Football Players on this planet, bar None!

That said, I do not believe that anyone will / can beat a talented Nick Saban Team twice in a short period of time. Chavis is a great coach and will keep the Tigers in the game, but Jefferson will not be able to deliver this one.

Turnovers could deliver the game to the Tigers, but I'm calling this one, Bama 17 Tigers 13.

Guys don't get pissed, I hope that I am wrong?
Sounds reasonable, but, like you, I hope you're wrong!

Jefferson did just fine against the bama D in Game 1

I think he will play better and I believe we will win, but to say Jefferson played fine the first game false. He only led us to really 1 FG. We will need more than that to win.

I think you're right about this, ROAD HOG. But to take away the option they'll open up the runs between the tackles. That's where LSU likes to run the most. I expect Bama to rotate among three strategies,
1. Wider splits by the inside LB's opening up the inside running game
2. Committing safeties to stop the option, opening up the passing game for big plays
3. Normal inside LB alignment with two safeties back, giving up the option.

It'll be a guessing game, but I agree with you that Bama's not going to just sit there and get raped by the option like they did last time.

Then watch Miles make you a believer. He prepares for post-season play so much better than $aban it's not even close. With the exception of Penn State (where the field condition beat the Tigers as much as PSU did), Miles' coached teams have destroyed their opponents. $aban? Two words: Iowa and Utah.

Miles owns bowl season.

Thanks for looking into the future and telling us, I was thinging of betting on LSU. But instead I will just buy lottery tickets, I'm sure you can give me the numbers to that with your vision of the future. The La Lottery will be fine, you need my e-mail....
Meant for Road Hogg, sorry.

I respect your opinion but I will disagree for several reasons. First, JJ has played exceptionally well in bowl games when he has had at least 2 weeks to prepare. Second, with all of Bama's chest-thumping, "we been disrespected" crap and Saban's fear (yes, fear) of losing to Miles for the third time in 2 years...the Bama team will be tight. They will make mistakes. We stopped TR from the 2nd half of the 3d quarter til the end of the first game. We'll stop him this time, too. Stop TR, who is 40% of their offense...and you beat Bama. The pressure is on them. We've already beat them. We'll come to the game like our coach, looking to have a good time and play some football. Brandon Taylor told me after the KY game that, "We're not going to lose." I have no reason not to believe him now.

If JJ plays the exact same game against Bama as he did on Nov 5th, we leave that game with 3 points barring no turnovers that help us out.

Can we beat Bama in a rematch with only three offensive points again?
