I will wait until a hire is made. If it is a coach currently in the tournament, you have to cut him some slack. But the coaches that are "available" for us to hire in the tournament is shrinking daily.

That being said, if we hire a coach who was available weeks ago, I will be inconsolably livid and Alleva should be run out of town immediately.

Wait? So should we want Alleva to make a non rational decision and just hire the first person he thinks of?that doesn't make sense.

No, because he deserved to be lynched a long damn time ago. He needs to be handed his walking papers, like yesterday.

Just don't understand why the guy leaves a trail every fricking time. NC State interviews and hires their guy in one day. It's almost like Alleva can't decide if he likes a guy so he leaks info to get reaction from the base while not giving two fricks about damaging the candidate.

imo Will Wade turned down his little offer

. Why

Having to fire Jones was a huge surprise, we had no time to be prepared to find a coach

Seriously, you think Illinois and Washington are more desirable than LSU?

How many times has Washington been in the final four since 2000? How many tournamet appearances since 2000? Illinois is debatable, but no way Washington is better. Hell they settled for a guy with no head coaching experience.

Illinois, NC State and Washington have all gone and hired their new coaches without any drama. Indiana's target is probably still in the Tournament, but expect them to make an announcement soon.

While LSU and Alleva are dilly dallying around waiting for everybody good to be picked up so they dont have to make an effort!!

You're assuming there is a long line of coaches waiting to get the LSU job.

Illinois is borderline Tier 2 Blue Blood.

LSU is way better than Washington.

Isn't it up to Joe to make the job desirable? To convince their top candidate that LSU is the best place for them?

I can't believe people still defend this guy.

Serious burn in you gut....even after all these months you can't move on from Miles and accept the current situation.

What if by some miracle, he's actually successful here? gonna change your tune or remain perpetually in a state of rustled jimmies?

I gave you a downvote because we're not the State University of Louisiana, we're LSU. After that I didn't read

What the hell does Miles have to do with Alleva fricking up Three basketball hires or even a clusterfrick of a football hiring process? The only people who are still talking about Les are a few clowns like you.

Our football hiring process was a clown show no matter how O does. If you cant accept that simple fact, you must be functioning at the retard level.

So Indiana is waiting for a coach in the tournament to lose but you can say, with 100% certainty, that LSU is not?

I can't say it with 100% certainty. But do you believe LSU can land a coach that's still in the tournament? I'm not seeing it.

Ed orgeron could be the most successful coach in lsu history and it's still wouldn't justify the process in which a career position coach was given the HC job while never having success as a coordinator or head coach.
