The entire college baseball fan base knows it isn't what it use to be.

Ameritrade and the CWS are as boring as shite.
The homerun is part of the game. To almost completely remove that during the most important time of the year, the time where we separate the best teams, is ridiculous.

I don't care what anyone says, but a lot of the pitching stats you see in Omaha are fluffed.
The bats don't just take away the long ball, but also hard gap shots for extra base hits.

Bunting and stituational hitting are definitely part of the game, but it shouldn't be the only part.
The game was more exciting when a team down 3 could go up by 2 or 3 in one inning.
Watching runners be bunted over 11 times, shallow fly balls and a final score of 2-1 in Omaha is killing the game.
I love baseball, it's consumed most of my entire life, I love watching it regardless, but facts are facts.
The college game has become boring.

*someone mentioned the 2009 bats, those were perfect. As long as we have BBcore the game will suffer.

No, you are not the only one. College baseball is on a downward trend and the dead bats and balls are to blame. Some will argue that the pitching is better well its not.......when a pitcher makes a mistake now a days its usually a flyout to the warning track. Pitchers can make a lot more mistakes now a days then they could in the 90s.

I have a 14 year old son who plays a lot of travel ball. When they were 12 and 13 playing USSSA ball and allowed to use the -5 bats the games were a lot more exciting for the fans and players. Now at 14 they playing in Perfect Game tournaments and only allowed to use BBCOR bats and HRs have dropped way off while playing at the same ball parks. It definitely is a different game being played with the different bats and whomever thinks it makes the college game more realistic to the pro game is crazy because every pro team I watch has at least 8 hitters in the line up that can hit a long ball at any given time in the game while most college teams have maybe 4 or 5 in their line up that will hit 5 HRs for the entire season!!

High School teams don't even know what HRs are any more!!

College baseball really never was except in the southeast region. I'd rather have a competitive, championship-caliber basketball team that a championship-caliber baseball team. MUCH more prestige in the former than the latter.

That's the main reason DH are no longer used on weekends.

A DH effectively eliminates a sold out game each weekend when one ticket is used to see two games.

Even if the stadium is cleared between games and a second ticket is needed for admittance to the second game of the DH, see below.

Sitting through 5 or 6 hours of games every Saturday is easier? Nope.

The attendance for each game would be drastically reduced from what separate games on successive days have. People are not going to want to sit through 6 hours of games on one day. And that's not just my opinion. It's what we've seen happen on those occasions when we have to play a DH to make up for a rain out.
