I'm hoping but am having trouble seeing it. Maybe it's because of the past 5 games or just from watching our oline play. Hope to God I am wrong.

Great, now this thread will get flooded with aTm fans.
shite. my bad!

You know what, let 'em come with their "L5U" shite. They haven't beaten us since Ware's coming out party at the Cotton Bowl on 1/7/11 and they've always been Gump dickriders since joining the SEC. We have every reason to want to troll them... just not with OUR stiff D.

I can see it.

Bama ties it up with a demoralizing late drive in the 4th quarter to kick a FG for the tie, but LSU wins it on a 70 yard Fournette screen pass on the last possession 27-20 due to Eddie Jackson's replacement being out of position and Saban trying to bring pressure. Key with a sack to end the game.

Redemption for the Yeldon screen pass when the Tigers were without Mathieu.

Fournette has over 100 yards receiving in the game.

I hope it's not a field goal battle. Our kicking game is suspect.

If he makes it at Auburn we are only needing a chip shot fg on the last drive ftw

LSU 2

Alabama 0

*to dominate

I've never seen somebody screw up this phrase quite like that before. Usually they incorrectly use "dominate" instead of "dominant".

I agree with you OP and I'm very worried about another 2011 type game. If it does become another FG and defensive style game like 2011 then I pray Sabah does not try for the long FG's again like he did in 2011 and he punts the ball this time. I am very concerned about A-Damn Griffin kicking anything longer than a 27 yard FG..... OK I will take my sorry Gump arse back to the Sec Rant.

I agree, I don't see us putting up over 24. If we win this game, it means our D played lights out.

If this game comes down to defense, I'm sorry, but Bama wins. Any 10-7, 13-10, 10-9 game I would give to the Tide. I like our chances much more in a 27-24 or 31-24 type game much like 07 LSU/Bama.

lots of homers here. I hope I am wrong but this Bama team looks as good as I can remember. Plus they have a real qb, their defense is a machine 3 deep at every position. We will have to play a flawless game and hope the freshman qb gets rattled and turns it over a few times. It will take a few turnovers cause I'm not sure we can score against these guys.
