who took the naked pictures of Miles that is in JJ's possesion.

Yes, funny. At the same time uncalled for.

I'm gonna go ahead and sit on the fence here.

I agree. I don't agree with the decision to play JJ more than JL. I don't give a rat's arse who gets the start.

The incessant whining that "Les owes us an answer" makes me wonder if any of you have ever held a job (facetious). Les doesn't owe me or any one of you a damned thing other than to try to win football games. You don't like the product? Don't buy the ticket. Bitch all you want. Les is not required to respond to anyone but the person with the power to fire him.

I'm embarressed that there are fans out there that support this arse clowns decision to start JJ over Lee. By supporting Miles, you are saying F you to the entire team who bust their butts to win a championship, just to have Miles limit them with his stupidity.
I don't care if Miles goes 10-2, I'd still fire him for being an idiot and embarressing this program every week. say what you want but it's our assistant coaches and players winning. miles is holding them back.
You little drama queen.

Ahh, I agree you shouldn't take anything regarding LSU and the coaches personally but I can understand some people getting frustrated when serious questions presented with stats explaining where the question came from are greeted with silence or even worse get cut off.

He doesn't owe us anything but if they just want fluff questions then they should probably have media guys ask the same old useless questions they always do instead of opening up the phone lines. Or better yet open up the phone lines but only allow questions asked from a short list of acceptable options because calling it open lines then refusing to answer questions you don't like that have nothing to do with the game plan seems to piss fans off even more than just not being allowed to ask

" It is a shame how many LSU "fans" find nothing poisitive and seem to never be happy unless they are calling for a coach to be fired.

My "time" goes back to the end of the Charlie Mac era and fans were calling for his head every time he lost to Bama... which everybody else was losing to them too, BTW.

Generations of LSU "fans" have grown up listening to their parents bitch and moan and complain about coaching and wanting the head coach fired.... it's in their genes, unfortunately.

I say cheer FOR the team, support the COACH and the program and stop complaining and bitching.

I can recall a whole lot of people in ~2005 and 2006 that saw this white guy running back #18 playing and just bitching week in and week out how slow he was and that he should NOT be playing... well that dude was pretty special and the coaches saw that... the blind "fans" could not get past their bias. By the time LSU won the NC and #18 was a big part of it... they shut up (well most of them anyway). I suspect the same will happen if/when Les Miles leads LSU to another SEC championship and possibly plays for the BCS NC again... if the man can put up with the crap he hears weekly if it's not this year (which NOBODY predicted, to the best of my knowledge). "

The problem with this is that Charlie Mac did lose to Bama each year and that's not acceptable today. Maybe it should have been accepted in the 70's, but not today. That greaseball Nick Saban set the benchmark, and fair or not, LSU coaches from this point forward will be compared to Saban and judged on whether they beat Saban. That is, until he hops a jet plane to accept his next deal. The frustration with fans is that JL is obviously outplaying JJ. And personally, I have to agree with them when they say that continuing to play JJ is going to ultimately hurt this team. Yes, LSU fans are spoiled, but so is every other fan base that has won the national title. In Tiger Town, it's championship or bust, so Lesticles better hope JJ doesn't screw it up or this fan base will go nuts.

I have always thought coach call-in shows are a joke and useless at any level. I don't watch or listen to any....though I find the call-in thread on TD to be entertaining sometimes and last night was pretty damned good.

Moral obligation? Did you just bring morals into this?

I think public figures should be as honest as possible and that lying just b/c you want to be obstinate is not ok. Is that what Miles does? Not always, but sometimes IMO.

What about the morals of the fans who call in just to bitch, when everyone in their right mind knows that no matter what he says, it won't be right.

Higher expectations for the head coach of the team, obviously.

His job is to win games

That's not his only job. He has many other duties as the most high-profile representative of the University.

The "win games" thing is being taken too far here anyway. No one can dispute that we've had way more than our share of good luck that very clearly decided those games one way or another, so how can you base your opinion of the coach on just the final score? It just doesn't make any sense.

I'd love to see the day miles gets fired after winning 10+ games because "he don't tawk like us" or "he won't answer our questions that we ask over and over"

Yes he has more responsibilities but y'all are acting like he's cursing like Rex Ryan or locking kids in a room like leach. Yeah the whole "he's here to win" thing is over played. But to us people who say things like that, the negative repetitive bullshite is just as overused If not more
