I like the purple...I get tired of always wearing white...even when we are on a neutral field like Jerry's world or bowl games, we seem to wear white every game...it gets old.

All I can think of is sitting in the stands during the "Hallman era" and having to watch us lose in those horrid purple jerseys. I don't know which made me sicker.

Look at LSU's win percentage in Purple prior to Les Miles's tenure as coach. The reason I say prior is because after Les became coach, he made sure that we only wore purple at home against rent-a-win opponents to get that win percentage to look a little better. Our win percentage in purple used to be almost as bad as Notre Dame's in the green jerseys.

Hate isn't a strong enough word. I wish they would never wear purple jerseys again. I even prefer the hideous designs Nike comes up with every few years over the purples. Remember the white helmets against Tulane with the all white uni's....that was a good combo.

I like the purple because it emphasizes the fact that, oh hey, our school colors are actually purple and gold, not white and lemon yellow.

Yeah, dude- the purple jerseys are OK for an occasional change, but I would REALLY love to see those whites w/ P&G trim and letters/numerals make a reappearance- they were very crisp and sharp-looking on TV
