Almost perfect for Florida

Things worked out for them and that is baseball - even down to the wind direction which must have been discouraging for our guys who have been hitting homers to face a 20mph breeze in game 2. The freshman pitcher shined in game 2, the situational sub of the CF made a difference in game 1 and the 1B reaction to fire home in game 2 where all successful. There are a few other things that worked for them.
Despite playing a good team with good things happening for it our team battled and kept games close. We never got that one big break in either game. It was fun and frustrating to watch. I enjoyed the 2017 postseason and i want to thank our team for providing me many hours of entertainment. I feel like I know them personally even though I do not. I am proud of the 2017 LSU Tiger baseball squad, GREAT SEASON.

Yep, great series. Breaks just didn't go our way those last two games and Florida's pitching was top notch.

Thought it was Deichman that hit that ball in the 8th. My feed kept cutting in and out so I could be wrong.

It was Deichman in the 8th. All in all, proud of our guys for a heck of a season and hats off to UF. Deserving champion for sure
