A fire was lit under the arse of our team, and they played their butts off last night. Best example was our kickoff coverage - those guys went after it and performed at the highest level all year. It's about desire. Look back to how Alabama's kickoff coverage destroyed our kickoff return team this year. Not that much difference in athletes; they just wanted it more.

And the defense holding TAM to 7 points. That's pretty darn good. They played with emotion and got to their passer. Better yet, they punished and harassed Allen most of the night.

Your post is a clear indictment of the coaching staff. Couldn't get them ready to play when they were in playoff position.

What was the difference last night as compared to the previous 3 games?

So no desire for Bama, Ole Miss, and Arkansas?

Sounds like a real coaching issue to me.

so it takes the threat of their coach getting fired for them to play with inspiration after getting their shite pushed in 3 weeks in a row? was this supposed to be a positive thread?

I saw absolutely no difference in play in that game compared to the 3 before.
Only the opponent.

Thread isn't going like you hoped it would! Thanks for brining more attention to why many fans are not happy about Miles' retention as coach.

Second thought, maybe its a great strategic move. Kids played hard for a lame duck coach they love?

What game were you watching?

It was the same old thing the first half and just a little better the second half.

TAMU offense is ranked 49th. I would hope the defense would be able to hold them.

Did you see how many times we had to punt? Did you see Guice's highlight reel play wasted?
