and the home game will be returned in 2017.

Four years in a row now the best non conference game away from Tiger Stadium.

Syracuse is a "good" non conference football game?

Well, I'm okay with that as long as they come back here.

I wouldn't mind an early fall trip to Syracuse.

Syracuse getting a home and home is an absolute insult to our program. Nice work Joe!

Well that's one way to look at it

Another way is praising the fact that we're actually doing a legit home and home

stupid, you get 1 good OOC game a year, sometimes 2 (2011) We get better exposure when we play in neutral sites close to us i.e. Cowboy Stadium/Reliant Stadium. It would be nice to fricking play in the superdome for a home game but we needed to appease the LSU fanbase in houston.

Only way this should have happened is if we played in Tiger Stadium and then played at MetLife Stadium.

this is the way CFB is headed. You may not like it. I'm sure Alleva doesn't care.

Also, the TCU game wasn't really that great imo.

Not this again!

You would have thought he would have learned his lesson. They will never set foot in TS...

are you serious?

We tried to schedule home/home with Arizona St, Florida St. & Oklahoma. They all postponed the games.

no we don't. a few recruits get to attend a game closer to their home but that's about it. the increased exposure reasoning is exaggerated.

I kind of agree. They are terrible and I don't see much advantage with recruiting. If we are going to play a team this bad, why not do it somewhere we can recruit. Virginia, Duke, UCF, Wake Forrest, Houston, USM... Or better yet, play a good team that will also help with recruiting like TCU, WVU, Oregon (in texas).

Not really.

You know we can't just pick a team to play and they have to play us, right?

But I thought we hated neutral site games? I'm confused.

I'm just opposed to playing in Syracuse. I don't mind a two game series, but we don't need to play in the Carrier Dome. The games should be at Tiger Stadium and MetLife Stadium. I don't see why 'Cuse wouldn't agree to this as they have done this in the past against USC and Penn State.

Uh huh.

Seen this act before.

Get ready to see Jackson State on the 2017 schedule.

I would definitely go to Syracuse. Moved to Rochester right out of college. Spent year and half there. Upstate NY is beautiful with the finger lakes and wineries. Yep, lots of road trips in the near future.
