Throw in our only other quality opponent, Wisc

Opponents points - 190

LSU points - 181

That in no way, shape, or form can be translated into anything positive going forward. It cements the fact that Miles is playing 'not to lose' against quality opponents

There certainly were far too many head scratching calls, but I'm looking at the total production on both sides of the ball for the year, and it aint pretty

Notice how the sunshine pumpers haven't even attempted one defense of Miles in this post

Considering that's down from 226 points (240 if you include the bowl game) opponents scored last year. Guess that's a bad trend as well...

How much of last year's offense is now playing on Sundays?

i don't love it , but at the same time, i don't mind it. I think we don't want to ask Jennings to do too much, and we weren't going to.

Smart play.

It is, when you factor in that we played Kentucky (7 points) instead of Georgia (44 points). That's a 37 point differential, just based on strength of opponent. Subtract those 37 points from 226 = 189

189 to 190. No trend at all from what I see

You guys are the best. Putting out something as a standard for your argument, but then when someone refutes it you move the goal posts. Good job!

Anyway... That's still a Kentucky team that has averaged 28 points per game this season. (And seems to have "given up" since the LSU beat down.)

Aren't we four and four? What is your point?

Two outliers on opposite sides means it goes back to the mean. In other words they cancel each other out. All your stat shows is we have a good defense and a poor offense. Was this ever in question by anyone?

So is Fla.

My point is that our coaching philosophy of playing close and winning in the 4th, is not working for us. Teams are making mistakes that lose games to us, rather than us winning games. The negative point differential shows that.

Games we won:
Fla (4-4) drops the game winning TD
A&M (3-5) got screwed on a penalty
Ole Miss (4-3) decides to throw a pick, rather than OT.
Ky (2-6) was no contest

Games we lost:
MS St (6-1) was no contest
Auburn (4-3) was no contest
Arky (3-5?) was no contest
Bama (6-1) misses a FG, or they beat us in regulation

LSU is just holding on to win. But when we lose, its usually badly.

I haven't looked it up and I don't intend to since the game and the season is over, but I don't recall the ball being on the one yard line at the time of the play that some of these people are whining about. Inside the ten yard line ...yes. At the one, I don't think that was the case.

I will never understand LSU "fans". They make every excuse for the other team but never apply it to us. How about

Games we lost:
MS St (6-1) we were throwing it to the endzone to tie the game when time ran out.
Auburn (4-3) was no contest
Arky (3-5?) we were coming off a emotionally devastating game and flat and missing 2 FGs completely killed any momentum gained at any time in the game.
Bama (6-1) a questionable PF penalty, missed PIs and 2-3 3rd down drops by quinn from winng.

we also played a better, more experienced Ole Miss team. We gave up 27 points last year to only 7 this year. We allowed 20 to Alabama this year (in 13 in regulation) and 38 last year. That's 45 points in regulation right there.

Don't let your hate for Miles and the LSU football team blind you from the facts. That was a 31 yard field goal attempt right before halftime last night. So, unless the ball was snapped 20 yards to the holder for the kick, your making shite up.

And LSUs NFL laden offense (Mett, OBj, Wright, Landry, Hill & Blue) lost to that worse, less experienced team. So your point means diddly squat
