And not necessarily blisteringly fast over short distances (I think his combine 40 was 4.48), but he could turn it on at the top end - best recollection was he was a better 200m runner than 100m.
He had little instinct for the cornerback position, but he could close distances as well as anybody we've had in the secondary. He was also a demon on special teams coverage - like a guided missile.

Not only was Skyler fast but he was probably the best cutter in LSU football history, when he planted his foot he was gone

Wasn't Skyler Green really fast? I thought he was up there.
Yes he was. I ran in an indoor meet with him at LSU in High School. He won everything. But he wasn't as fast Trindon or Jeryl.

White Lightning - very, very fast, with good moves to go with the speed. Just no size to him at all at a time where that was becoming more and more important.
Great competitor and another speedy return guy in LSU history. He looked like he was 50+ years old in college.

I was wondering who would mention good ole Slip Watkins. Also, Jermaine Sharp from OCS was very fast, too fast to hang onto the ball, and was a 10.2 guy in high school. Outside of Kennison and Trindon, Sharp and JJ Meadors(RHS/ARK) were the 2 fastest I've ever seen.
1. Trindon--no one has faster feet
2. XCarter
3. Kennison--probably the fastest on field
4. Bennie Brazell
5. Slip Watkins
Dont forget Laron Landry ran a freakish combine 40 very much liken to PP7 and Mo, actually it may have been faster
