Army took #5 Oklahoma into Overtime a few years ago. Don't think they aren't capable of winning this game.

The LSU admin is treating Army like wounded warriors visiting Tiger Stadium. This isn't a Make-a-Wish event, its a football game.

Better hope the tigers are preparing for the highly disciplined opponent they will face and not distracted by this pointless pandering we're doing. Would it be that shocking to see Army run right through this pathetic defense?

If we lose this game, we must bear the sight of the LSU football team standing on a camo end-zone in Tiger Stadium singing the Army Alma Matter.

Which is why the best practice is never to pander. You can be respectful and not be a kiss-arse at the same time.

Can we please just STFU about this and watch the game tomorrow?

And you're an idiot if you think Army has a real chance at an upset.

That Army team was good. This Army team is not good. Going to be a beat down tomorrow evening whether they throw them a parade pregame or not.

I've sat in Tiger Stadium and watched UAB and Troy defeat LSU. The moment you start thinking the other team has 0% chance, is when ugly shite happens.

Heck, TOWSON, Eastern Michigan, and McNeese all came pretty close to pulling off shocking results v The Tigers

That 2018 Army team finished the year 11-2 and ranked 19th.

Not going to happen.

This year’s team is 2-4 with losses to Northeast La and Troy.

Other notable close games to lesser opponents:

2021: LSU 27 - ULM 13
-ULM finished the season 4-8

2009: LSU 24 - LaTech 16
LaTech finished the season 4-8

2008: LSU 40 - Troy 31

2004: LSU 24 - Troy 20

McNeese St lost 34-7

Towson lost 38-22

Eastern Michigan lost 44-22

I wouldn't call any of these pretty close to winning.

McNeese was much closer in 2010 than in 2021. I don't remember the final score but I remember they went up 7-0 after Jefferson was sacked and fumbled near the goalline

Army was running the flexbone then. They are a shotgun team with option concepts this year. They’re trash offensively, zero efficiency. They lost to ULM and were shut out by Troy. LSU will be winning by 7 TDs at the half.

Painting endzones and putting an American flag patch on the jerseys has apparently made this board a bunch of pearl-clutching Karens.

LSU won 32-10 in 2010. It was 5 points closer. McNeese was up 10-7 early in the 2nd quarter and didn't score again. It was an ugly game, but they were never actually threatening to win the game

It's not impossible, just very unlikely. If LSU loses, this would be one of the biggest upsets of all time. ESPN 10 biggest upsets last 25 years

It's like saying, all of the people that told me not to waste money on lottery tickets are going to look like fools when I win the Powerball.
