True, he is really struggling as a SEC QB. We all know this.

The real problem is the coaching staff. They are not putting AJ in the best position to be successful. Hell, bring in Harris and run this same shite offense, you will get the same result.

Quit recruiting dual threat QBs when you run a pro-set offense. Square peg, round hole.

I will blame whoever I want to. Les Miles is the overall problem, but Jennings lack of talent isn't helping either.

That's a fact. Coaching doesn't if give AJ half a chance.

People pissed at AJ are misplacing their anger. True, he's not very good in this offense but it's not his fault LSU hasn't recruited and developed a quality QB. He's not making the personnel decisions on gameday.

There is plenty of blame to go around and he is part of the problem, therefore gets some blame.

Pro style or dual threat, you can't keep over throwing wide open receivers (tight ends, running backs too) and say the scheme is the issue. The game can only be dumbed down so much. You must have a basic level of talent and football IQ to succeed.

I totally agree. This staff is not playing to his core competencies. They are setting him up for failure. It's misguided and destructive to aim the vitriol at him, when there is ZERO doubt he is giving 100%. He's a lot more "screwed" than he is "screwing" us.

So the fact that Miles and Cam are running him out there and calling these shite plays has no bearing on your feelings?

AJ is playing hard. Hell, he was one of the only ones that showed some fire last night. He just isn't a SEC QB.

Yet, who still runs him out there with this offense? What do you expect from AJ? Him to quit the team?

Jennings would have been a nice QB at Ball State or Nichols

Harris and Jennings ran the same offense against New Mexico State and the results were way different. No, AJ is completely inadequate.

Can't read a defense, hitting a receiver is an accident, runs decent but not great. The only thing that is not his doing, is putting him the game.

Probably a great kid, but way out of his league here.

AJ is not a good QB for what the Off he is made/allowed to run.
The truth is that with a different philosophy he could possibly be a good QB....no one knows
I have seen many players have a great turnaround under different guidance.

The problem is COACHING.
Great coaches take a player's ability and develop the game plan for him to succeed.
Our coach insist on running the old Michigan playbook...
We are PREDICTABLE which helps our opponents D tremendously.

I also think our coach is lazy, stubborn and arrogant. I see a pattern, each and every time we get embarrassed, he goes back, works hard and has a good showing next time....
When all the "buzz" is positive, he reverts to his same "old game plan" .. no effort needed for that.

I just said that in another thread, and I think it is true. I am actually re-watching the game right now (yeah, I know, sounds like I am a glutton for punishment), but I am looking at the offense. Amazing how Les & Cam cannot see that Arky was so ready for the run game, just like Bama back in the Championship game against Bama, even though I know that's not on Cam. Les still thinks he can wear out any other defense out there, and last night the OL was getting manhandled, so adjustments needed to be made, but of course, nothing was done.
