For us to get in the sec championship game we need to win out and A&M and Alabama need to lose twice. It not impossible. They both have difficult remaining games and alabama's 4 game stretch is brutal. It can still happen people. Don't give up hope

Alabama

@Arkansas
@Tennessee
vs A&M
@LSU

A&M

vs Tennessee
@Alabama
vs Ole Miss
vs LSU

They both need to lose once then lose to us.

Yeah, thats great. It can still happen.

But the point is that it shouldn't even have to be that way. Prior to this cancelation we controlled our own destiny. We beat Bama and A&M/win out, we're in. Period. Now we do not have that in our hands, and it's NOT because of a loss.

Exactly. They both need to have two conference losses

Why is "not impossible" even acceptable?

This move by Florida benefited them and BAMA and has reduced our chances from slim to even slimmer...and some of our fanbase seems to be ok with that, as if being forced to run the gauntlet is some badge of honor.

it isn't. it's a sign that we get rolled by our conference far too often.

Incorrect. WE just need to win both games and remain with 1 SEC loss. Head to head would advance us.

Incorrect, division champions are determined by win percentage. 7-1 > 6-1.

Since the SEC created this clusterfrick, they need to come out IMMEDIATELY and state whether or not LSU and UF are eligible for the SEC title and the tiebreaker rules in connection therewith.

Hey commish, do what you didn't do early in the week. Come out and make a fricking decision AND explain that decision to all 14 schools. Don't give us some bullshite about we are "trying" to reschedule the game. Put in a goddamn plan. Something that SHOULD have been done after we nearly had this same exact situation occur last season with USC.

I doubt the conference office has the authority to make that change unilaterally. It would have to be decided on by the member institutions, and that won't happen.

True, but while you're looking for someone to blame, you might want to throw Miles and his big goofy white hat into the discussion. Had we not played horrendously at Auburn, we'd be sitting pretty right now.

If Bama has a loss prior to LSU the lsu/Florida game will be played. If Bama is undefeated the game is canceled completely.

Assuming we were to play UF (and win). Should've qualified that sorry.

I can't believe people think that happening is impossible. Arky has taken Bama to the 4th quarter the last 2 years as unranked teams. What's so ridiculous about them pulling out a home win against an freshman QB and a weak secondary at home when they're ranked in the top 20? It isn't impossible AT ALL that Ark wins this game. As far as A&M--this is October and it's just about the time Aggie shuts the bed. All it takes is one loss between UT, or Ole Miss. Since we know they can't frick with LSU that only leaves one. I'll pour my heart and soul into Bama crushing their head like the mountain if Ark wins tomorrow.

Yep, it's all Miles fault. Damn, we all know that the storm that's hitting Florida right now is Miles fault. Okie St. losing to Iowa St. in 2011 was Miles fault. I broke a shoelace this morning and trying to find a new one made me late for work, that was Miles fault. When the damn paper boy threw the newspaper towards my door this morning, he broke a bird feeder that was close to 10 feet away from the porch, I don't think that was Miles fault, pretty damn sure that one's on Cameron.
