In case anyone wasn't sure. He's going to be great for us for 3 years. Doesn't throw like a freshman. He's Nola's replacement right now.

Been discussing it with friends today. It's virtually fact. He's on his way to being the next Nola/Gausman. His stuff is disgusting. He should be in the minor leagues right now

Agree. Control is great. Breaking ball is fantastic.

Been discussing it as well. Guys I trust with this stuff.

You're right. He should be in the minors. I'm not saying he won't struggle a day or two this year, but that fastball... And OMG that slider. If Dunn can do what he's known for and get him a legit changeup, we're talking another top 5 pick in three years.

Yeah he gets a good 3rd pitch to go with these two + pitches, he will be a top pick. I wonder if he can add a couple mph on his fastball as he matures more and maybe gets a little stronger.

More MPH would be great, but I'd like to see more movement on it too. He slider is the + pitch. And it makes his fastball great as a college pitcher. If his fastball had movement it would be a ++ pitch and he'd be almost unhittable at this level.

Yeah a little movement on the fastball would be nice. I think he'll get better at placement throughout his career just like Nola did. Nola's junior year, his control was out of this world.

He's needs to work on keeping his velocity late in the start before adding speed. His fastball moves enough to dominate at 90-92 while he's in college

Nola had movement, control, and 3 great pitches. Can you imagine if he was still at LSU.

He is struggling right now. Not getting help from his catcher.
