Both have ads littering the outfield wall and backstop, but Baum's look better because of the uniform white ad on green wall.

Why can't/didn't LSU do this instead?

Baum also has chair backs all the way down the line. You could very easily make the argument that Baum is a nicer looking stadium.

Baum is nicer than The Box, but neither tops South Carolina's new digs.

That's not why Baum is nicer . I've never been a fan of the new box. I hate the grandstands at the Box. It is architecturally atrocious. The big gaps of space have always just looked like an incomplete project to me. I would say that South Carolina is tops followed by Arky . I like Ole Miss because it has that electric vibe like the old box had.

I just don't think USC is that impressive.

The exterior of Baum is eh but it's definitely an awesome facility from inside the park

I don't understand everyone's hatred of the ads. I don't remember playing on a field that didn't have sighs on the tense from little league to highschool. If someone wants to give you money to hang a sign take their money and put up a sign.

The old box had ads too. Back in the day all baseball walls had ads.

I don't hate the ads at all. I understand their purpose, but some uniformity would be nice. 'Sall I'm saying.

Looks like they transferred some of the public eyesore FEMA trailers that are at the top of the new SEZ addition in Tiger Stadium to the new Box. Aesthetic Design of LSU Athletic Facilities is definitely not the forte' of the LSU Athletic Department.................

Agree 100%. I understand the revenue of the ads, but it looks like shite behind home plate. Absolute shite.

We need to figure out how t have an outfield berm like Baum. Add in the ability to bring coolers into the outfield and the Box would be truly wicked!!!

Back in the day? Ads are as a part of baseball as hot dogs and the hit and run.

Skip toured the country looking at college baseball stadiums & he is the one who designed The New Box. So all blame for design issues falls on him. He placed all the ads in The Old Box, too.
