Is it typical baseball food(hot dogs, burgers, nachos, etc) or do they serve anything with a Louisiana flavor(boudin balls, shrimp poboys, etc)?

Mostly.

Also, if you get Champions Club tickets, they always have a buffet where you can pay $20 to each and drink (sodas) all you want. It changes daily. The suites are catered.

cool, thanks for the info to both.

How is the tailgate scene on the weekends? Do people anything like they do at MSU?

City Pork has a stand now. The BBQ nachos are delicious.

Nobody does baseball tailgating like they do at Miss St. At least not until Miss St remodels their stadium.

There are a few spots where there's always some cooking and drinking. It gets bigger for Regionals/Supers. The problems is that the regulars are in paid lots so you have to park and walk unless you get a parking pass. I'm thinking of behind LF and the lot down the LF line. For the big SEC series, you'll see more tailgating across nicholson and even in hayfield.

The cajun kiosks in the grandstands are gone, sadly. Just regular stuff, Dippin Dots, one City Pork stand, and one Lava Cantina stand. The city pork nachos are $9 but probably the best tasting food in the stadium, suites notwithstanding.

As much as I like Lava Cantina, their options at the box are pretty horrible. Don't get the fajita wrap.

Yeah City Pork is your best option IMO. You can't go wrong with the Big Pig or the Nachos.
