Is it laid back with drinking on campus on gamedays or do you have to watch it?

Also do they sell liquor at gas stations and grocery stores like in Louisiana, or do you have to seek and find a liquor store?

Thanks in advance. Making my first trip to starkvegas tomorrow.

So I'll have to do crown and coke if walking? No beer unless at the tailgate spot??? That sure sucks.

I am being serious. both mississippi schools are strict about open containers. They will allow drinks in cups but if they catch you with a bottle or can in your hand, you are getting a ticket and if the cop is a dick they will make you poor your alcohol out.

in the city they sell beer. i tried to by beer at a gas station there just outside city limits in january and they didn't carry it. you have to have cups. it's easy to sneak it in. hell they even let your bring bags in and barely check them, but if your'e wearing an lsu shirt i bet they check it pretty hard. no worries for me though, i'm sitting in a suite. deal with that bitches!!! free food and alcohol!!

Does tailgating suck at MSU as bad as the drinking rules?

not really. Dont' know how the Thursday setup will be like. The square is actually a decent scene but its nothing like the Strip in Tuscaloosa for gamedays. Is it one of my favs in the SEC? no but is it the worse? no

Only other away game I've been to is Arkansas in little rock. I'm thinking that there is no way this can be worse (even on a Thursday).

No State is a bit better than Little Rock for games.

That's what you should have told your boss for not being able to go.
