Alabama will have gone over a month going through the motions of average teams.

This could be a problem for them when the competition drastically steps up.

Might be. Help me understand how I'm supposed to view this though. Does Alabama have a scheduling advantage set up by the SEC office b/c they play average teams for a month, or is that a disadvantage created by the SEC office?

The Bama & LSU schedules can be compared:
* There are 5 common opponents (TAMU, AU, Ole Miss, MSU, Arky).

* Each have 3 cupcake games. Bama has Ga State who compares to Furman for LSU, Chattanooga who compares to Kent State, and Colorado State who compares to UAB.

* Va Tech and TCU are comparable.

* Tennessee is Bama's permanent cross divisional rival. Nothing Bama could do about that. Florida is LSU's permanent. Nothing you can do about that. You weren't complaining about his when Zook was at Florida or when Tenn won 4 in a row against Bama from '03 - '06. Can't complain now. Those two games, like it or not, wash each other other. In 2010 & 2011 LSU played UT from the East while Bama played Florida.

* Bama and LSU play each other.

* The only game remaining game remaining is UGA for LSU vs. Kentucky for Bama. I can totally see why LSU fans complain about this. It's worth complaining about, but not every freaking day. It sounds like an excuse. It's a ONE game difference in schedules. One game. One. Game.

Regarding the bridge schedule this year and last, last year we got FL and SC. This year we got FL and UGA. Bama got Mo and Ky and TN. Its more than a single game. And a single game can make the difference anyway.

I'm not getting into the scheduling thing...I was just pointing out that many games in a row can lull a team.

And we just lost that one game Pal

Now do you understand the butt hurt? We have to be perfect the rest of the season...

Plus Bama can still lose to LSU at home, miss the SECCG game and still play for a National Title... :) amiright?

I don't' think you realize the amount of scheduling fortune the Tide has had the last 3-4 seasons.

When UT starts winning 10 games a year, let's talk, but until then, the are essentially Mizzou, KY or Vandy...Bama will be 27 pts favorites regardless of venue.

LSU plays the best teams in the East every single year, it matter bro!!!

Plus you got AJ back for a 3rd title run, that's unfreaking believable fortune!!!!

I guess Bama pays better than the NFL
