And all their timeouts left I think we shouldn't hesitate to call our own timeouts and get the right call on defense in. The last 2 games in Death Valley we hoped that time would be a factor but they have practiced motion offense and execute it well and our linebackers and DBs get caught off guard. Having Steele on our squad means he should have insight. But k owing Saban he will throw some wrinkles. The goal is to make the stop on defense...not hope clock works against them.

Do folks on the rant agree? or would you not call any timeouts?

If they are gashing us in the first two or 3 plays doing no huddle, then yes. Otherwise, no. Kiffin is too crafty.

I seriously think we will have the gamd in the bag this time, and wont have to worry about a last min drive. I think we win by 10

I like our chances at BDS in that situation. Honestly, it's better for the defense because they don't have to deal with the home crowd noise.

I would hope this time with our last offensive drive and an opportunity to score and put the nail in the coffin, we trust our offense and not just try and run as much clock as possible.

Why cant we call the right plays without having to call a timeout? Just a thought.

At least we got practice last weekend, and managed to tackle people in bounds to keep the clock running.

Our defense has looked tired at the end of games

The wannabees got Alabama then Florida in their ranking heads. We stopped Florida. We will stop Bama.

Lewis Neal, Arden Key, and Davon Godchaux combine for 4 sacks and time runs out. Jacob Coker diagnosed with cracked ribs. Coach O goes on a Red Bull Rampage and parties into the night.

You should seldom hesitate to call a TO if you are horribly lined up wrong.

Other than that you don't waste your TO's in the hazy situation you described.

Unless LSU is losing, This game is coming down to the wire, just like Florida & last year against Bama.

I may kill myself if Bama has the ball with a little time left and in position to win the game again

The mindset has completely changed with Steele in this situation. We actually sent pressure and forced Harris to make plays whereas Chief would routinely go into his rush 3 deep zone shite and let teams eat up 60 yards in 15 seconds. We have the athletes to force pressure and I think that will make Coker have to do things he's not comfortable with. Maybe we'll get him to float one up for a pick or something.

No more chavis effect... Kiffen always tries to get cute so hopefully we force a few turnovers. Great to see Steele come in and put together the #1 D n conference. Chavis has done similar but isn't even close to steeles level in recruiting.
