No running QB so defense has to worry about the primary RB and not the read option.

This will allow man to man coverage with lost on roaming.

#93 offense in country put up 27 points on LSU. Murray with his 201.7 passer rating is going to go "nuckin futs"...

Besides Michael Bennett I do not fear UGA receiving core. The tight end lynch may be a match up problem but other than that we should be fine on the outside. Tre White gets his first int this weekend.

So we make excuses for Mett's poor big game record but Murray's is all on him. Got it.

If your referring to TCU, one TD was a KO return and another came after we fumbled inside our 5 yd line.

lost to Florida after we lost several LBs and Florida ran the ball 25 straight times. Not on Mett. Beat A&M. Lost to Bama in a game in which Mett played his best game of the year and Les Miles refused to let him throw one more pass.

Clemson was not a big game. It was a crap game that half of our juniors didn't care about. Frick, our head coach obviously didn't care to win with how he benched Hill after he dominated the first half.

Not an excuse, just a fact. Last year was Mett's first year as a starter. Bama and Clemson won in the last seconds of the game. Mett doesn't play on defense.

Murray is a 4 year starter with a miserable record against top 25 opponents.

Yes, he was terrible on defense against Clemson.

You people are hilarious. Put all the losses on Murray and none of them on Mett.

Murray has put up a lot of points in most of the losses.

so, GA is going to intercept 2 mett passes and return them for td's. (2008)

Sure, that will happen.

LSU won't score 45 in this game, likely not 35.
Georiga will score enough to win, likely 31-35.

LSU 34
UGA 24

Murray played very well in the SECCG last year, if I recall. Being a 4-yr starter has its advantages. He knows the offense inside and out, he knows all of the proper check-downs and reads.

That said, he looked like hot garbage last week in the first half. If that had something to do with the weather, then I pray for another mudder game because apparently Mett > Murray for those.

Key is getting to Murray early to get him off to a shaky start. He takes a while to recover from that. If he gets hot on the first series then LSU will need to play exceptionally well on offense to win the game.

LSU will score 35 or more points. Classic drop back QBs usually do not hurt LSU like read option systems and it plays into our strengths. TAMU will be much harder test for our defense than GA.

Yea he did a great job on clock management and throwing that dart in the end zone against bama last year to send them to the MNC. A great quarterback would have won that game especially in his third year starting

If the pass wasn't tipped it'd have been perfect clock management because the game would be over

So now the OL and RB missing blocks is murray's fault. Got it. Surely that would never be mett's fault though.

The only reason it came down to the last play is because Murray carved up bama's defense driving the length of the field in under 2 minutes you idiot. And a great quarterback would probably hold the other team under 350 yards rushing. Oh wait..murray doesn't play defense.

I agree with you that he carved up the defense in that drive, but everyone who was watching was yelling for him to spike the ball so the offense could get set for a final play to win.

UGA won in 2004 in Athens, 2005 in Atlanta, 2008 in BR. So...4 out of the last 7. Pretty even.
