After watching men’s basketball tonight they look like a middle of the pack SEC team.

I know the competition was not much but Baker was impressive and guard play was solid. They ran the offense, made open shots, boxed out well and got back on defense. Just good fundamental basketball. At first glance this team just might surprise us in a good way.

They are shooting the ball waaaay better, but I'll wait until they play a team with a pulse. We looked good early on last year until we didn't and were atrocious. Glad to see them off to a nice start though.

We played Kansas City to start last season and limped to an 11 point win. I have heard of MVSU. I have never heard of Kansas City

We at least beat this trash-arse team by 50. Last year we struggled to win by 6 against these shite teams.

Kansas City was middle of the pack in their crappy conference last. Valley was the worst team in the SWAC generally means you're a bottom 5 team nationally.

Concerned about rebounding and pg play. But as of now it looks like this team can make shots and play a faster tempo (Subject to change)

Last season, we only blew out 1 team during the non-conference play when we beat UNO by 29 points. We had closer games against other weak teams last season. A 46 point win while scoring 106 points is good, particularly when playing the entire roster. Definitely need to temper enthusiasm, but have to be happy to see good fundamentals.

This team barely out rebounded MVSU… they will get dominated in SEC play unless there’s some significant emphasis on it

Its hard to even figure out how to follow the team, rabalais is obviously at the games but spent the entire game tweeting about the womens team.
