Advocate poll: greatest LSU football player

Scott Rabalais' article about LF7, has a poll which you can select from 9 different players as the greatest Tiger. Billy Cannon is not one of the options.
Doc Fenton, Jerry Stovall, Bert Jones, & Tommy Hodson all made the cut.
9 players to chose from, but not the Heisman winner
ETA- the Advocate has now added Billy Cannon to the list of choices, guess someone sent them an email

Fournette wasn't even the best player to wear #7

Without looking at that list I'm picking Kevin Faulk.
Most exciting though was TM7 no doubt.

neither mathieu nor cannon are on there. Buga currently edging out Dorsey for 3rd place. I voted for faulk.

Stop.
Fournette was on track to break all of Kevin Faulk's records. He injured himself and Kevin came back for his senior season. Otherwise he may of gone down as the best ever.

100 percent agree with this. Some of the plays TM7 was making in 2011 were just crazy.

Hodson then Faulk then Jones then Dorsey.

My personal choice.... a 4 year starter at the hardest position there is....

One of my favorite players. What I'd give for another guy under center like him.

Cannon must have refused to let Rabalais suck him off to be omitted from that list, but of that list, I'd go with Casanova

My personal favorite is Rohan. He is not listed.

That's a tough question but Patrick Peterson was just so damn dominant.
