We do not have to make the perfect pick for hc. We just need someone who can lead a 21st century offense. There are plenty of those guys out there who would die to coach at LSU. Any of them would be an upgrade for us.

Let's just all be glad this guy isn't making important decisions.

You guys act like we are replacing a genius. We are not but there are some geniuses out there that we could get.

Moots: I am not sure how you can watch Les's predictable offense get embarrassed year after year and not come to the conclusion that the game has simply passed him by. Look at other programs move the ball with ease against teams that we can barely score on. Try looking at any offensive coach in the SEC who's team gives the teams that we were not even competitive with a run for their money.

Mike: No need to deflect....It's a pretty simple question...

You're the one that said, " There are plenty of those guys out there who would die to coach at LSU"...

Would love to see your list!

definitely agree. probably lots of coach's available. Miles has a very good record. I don't want us to do the wrong thing and blame the coach. I would have to check the time left on the contract of Miles. I think next year would be the same team. I thought Miles was at the right place. But it doesn't seem to work. He now seems old and out of touch.

Moots: Not deflecting, I was answering your question. Everyone has a list, there is nothing new about that. The same names on all of them are probably a good place to start. Again, we are not replacing a genius, so just puck one of the extremely talented HC options who is gifted at today's game and we will see an improvement.

For the most part, I agree with you. Miles was an average coach at best. I think Dinardo would have had similar success with the current facilities & resources Miles had.
