Adam Gase and LSU

Found out something interesting today. Adam Gase, who was just hired to be the Miami Dolphins head coach, used to be on LSU's coaching staff. He came on the staff in 2000 as a graduate assistant, and from 2001-2002, he was a recruiting assistant. He went to college at Michigan State, so when Nick Saban came to LSU, Gase joined his staff.
I think Gase has a great chance to be a successful coach in the NFL. It's pretty cool to know his coaching roots are in Baton Rouge.

pretty cool...I don't remember him, but he had apparently been damn successful.

You'd think the Dolphins would have had enough of the Saban taint.

Jay Rogers was on that staff too. He is an up and coming assistant with the Bears.

I think Gase will turn things around in Miami, although I don't know if Tannehill is the answer at QB though. He's too inconsistent, and hasn't really established that he can be a franchise QB. Maybe Gase can finally get him on the right path.
