Without MAJOR portal adds the current roster with Heavener or any pitcher won’t go anywhere and will be hard pressed to make a regional… will be far worse than the baseball team this yr

If you talk to ppl in the Houston area that are travel ball coaches they will tell you Lindsay Leftwich was the downfall of LSU softball recently. She was the main recruiter, she taught the garbage “launch angle “ . Howard Dobson can evaluate and recruit with the best of them however he was with Team USA and had minimal input with recruiting but make no mistake it was leftwich who started the slide

All true, I’ll say it again leftwich was more worried about baptizing kids into her cult that improving their play on field. It was absolutely bizzare.

She had bad baseball luck earlier in the inning With a runner on first the batter hit a high hopper to the mound. She leaped and the ball glanced off the top of her glove. If it gets through its probably a double play ball to Pleasant. and the homerun hitter never bats that inning if all else that followed that inning occurs. The home run pitch was not that bad as it was low and she just hit it well. It was an 0-2 so maybe a waste pitch was called and she missed a little more over the plate. Give the batter credit for hitting it out.

I'm a Houston area retired HS and travel ball coach and I heard some of the same things.
Right now NC State is 20-17, 3-11 in ACC. Last year 18-35, 6-18 in ACC... slight improvement in non-conference we shall see in the rest of ACC play.

She’s going to get blamed today too but LSU has left 8 runners on base. They’ve had multiple runners on 2nd with no or 1 out and can’t score. This offense can’t protect our mediocre pitching.
