Honestly, what's O's acceptable record next year?

Anything less than 10-2 and I'm completely out

7-5 rebuilding. 5 SEC road games.

Might as well leave now because with that road schedule, we aren't going 10-2 next year.

Realistically, I would say 9-3 is a good year, 8-4 is expected. Anything greater than 9-3 and the team exceeded expectations.

What would have been Hermans or Jimbos and you have your answer. It does not matter who the coach is LSU fans have high expectations for some reason.

I'm thinking 9-3 and 10-3 with a bowl win

We may be surprised though, similar to 2010

Unacceptable

Seriously, would we allow that if Jimbo was hired, or even if Miles was retained?

7-5 is simply unacceptable

He has a sweet road schedule to deal with.

This. If not then why did we fire Les? He could get us 8-9 wins a year without the disastrous low floor potential that O has.

9-3 is very attainable even with 5 SEC road games.

Same as every year recently. 8-4, 9-3. Let the mediocrity wash over you.

Prepare to be out then I guess because next year we're on a rebuild and we have a tough schedule

The realistic ceiling for Coach O's first full year here is 8-4 again. Maybe he can go 10-2 in his second year with some solid recruiting but we are losing a LOT of talent here and that would've plagued any coach coming into Baton Rouge

Yes let's go ahead and accept mediocrity because we have road games. Kind of like tOSU, Bama, Michigan now makes the same excuses.

The real question is how will people react if LSU goes 11-2, they will still discredit O. It's hilarious and pathetic. He will do much better then everyone is thinking that's a fact. He kicked everyone's arse except bama and hung with them for 3 quarters lol but we are now going all of a sudden fall off the face of the planet because of his accent. Ha ha ha ha ha ha

Miles was fired for a better record

I think with what we lose this year and with our schedule that I was kind of expecting us to lose 3 next year no matter who we hired. I'd be impressed if O could pull off 9-3. Not sure that'll happen though
