You people just don't get it. Yes we have the talent to win it all but we have a head coach that is totally incapable of adapting and attacking an opponents weakness on defense.

Looking solely at records is very short-sighted. You need to look at the product on the field.
If you actually looked at the team we field, you would subsequently see one of the most incompetent offenses in the country. One that can barely complete a forward pass. One that has frequent time management and assignment issues. One that gets pushed around at the line with supposedly one of the best O-lines in the country. One who has the top NFL prospect in the country, yet can barely muster to score a single touchdown. One that continually exhausts the defense because they have so many 3 and outs.
And all of this has been consistently happening over several years. If you want to be short-sighted go ahead, but don't come here and bash people who actually watch and analyze the product on the field.

Guess what, a 7-6 mediocre coach that we let stay here for 20 years would be a better coach than Les by your standards despite never having achieved anything
Using your logic, since Les already has the most number of wins in LSU history you can never be disuaded from believing that he is the best option for LSU despite his recent results. How ignorant.
Unfortunately for you, your litmus test of "the last 5 years" will continue to erode as we get farther and farther from the anomaly of 2011 and our yearly record continues to decline.

Miles showed many of us who he was in 2005. He got a pass because of Katrina. 2007 is his saving grace and that was beyond luck to get there.
