There have been several times in the Kelly era that JD has gotten cheap shotted (not to mention him getting picked up against Georgia) where LSU would have started a fight if they had any nuts. The reality is Kelly is a soft and emotionless coach who has let bitchness permeate throughout the program. No elite program has graduate champions as their slogan and sits players for internal discipline. It’s unfortunate but it’s how it is.

It’s like in soccer and you have an allstar goalie that keeps you in every game abs everyone knows it. So the other team intentionally takes him out with dirty play and all they get is a yellow card. The game is over and so is your season. And you don’t do shite, say shite just bow your head and walk off the pitch with your tail between your legs. Get it now

It was clearly a violent hit to the head that knocked out your best player and team leader. You do NOT let that shite slide with no reaction at all. AGAIN, you don't go apeshit to cause injury, but you definitely send a message that you have a pair and can hit their skill players equally as violently.
And I said it in another post, give me Dallas Turner over anyone of the soft arse victims we rolled out there.

100%. Kelly is soft, his teams at ND were soft, and the softness has permeated throughout our program.
He should have went Will Muschamp on the Horsecollar and Roughing the passer.
I was at the game. I didn’t even notice Daniels laying on the ground because of the lack of flag thrown on the WR getting molested. That entire play was trash officiating

Ok, one more time. Where did I say there was intent to injure? Actually this is probably on me for even acknowledging your ignorant arse. The thread has nothing to do with Turners intent snd even less to do with Bama. It has everything to do with oour chicken shite lack of a response to meet voilence with violence.
And if this isn't obvious to you by now, the play in question had very little to do with the outcome of the game with Bama. It speaks to the soft culture that currently permeates the LSU defense. You won tonight. Congratulations. I hope you beat the frick out of Georgia and I hope to hell we play a lot more physically against Bama and everyone else next year.

ITA, had the situation been reversed, then the same people screaming outrage tonight, would instead be taunting bama fans with the late hit pics.

I played tackle and my QB was a little prick, despite that when shite like that happened to him we fricked u up next play. (Except the time he mouth off one too many times and I called open door on him) Game was over and we had enough of his shite.

Ohio State Fan Here. I couldn't believe targeting or unnecessary roughness wasn't called. OSU was leading Clemson 16-0 in first half of playoff game when DB Shaun Wade (5'10") came in untouched aiming for Trevor Lawrence (6'6") chest. Lawrence ducked into Wade and Wade's helmet incidentally hit that of Lawrence. At the time most people said under the rules it was targeting. The hit against your qb seemed much worse to me and I couldn't believe it wasn't called.
