Some friends and I are looking to plan a trip to college station for the game. It would be our first road game trip in college and we really don't know how to go about planning it.

Anyone ever been to college station? Where should we stay/ what to do? TIA

Good luck finding a hotel room, champ. I looked for 2 days before a buddy (aTm grad) told me he had an extra room booked that I could crash in.

Little late to start planning a road trip, IMO.. but it can still be done.

If you don't have a hotel booked by this point or don't have a friend's place to stay, you could be looking at slumming it.

Hotels have been booked for a long time now my friend. I am going with a few friends and we are just going to stay in Houston with some family...it is only like 90 miles away. Half of my family went to ATM and I grew up going to games there. Bar called Dixie Chicken is one of the best bars in College Station...been there since my dad was in college. I would definitely hit that place up.

Back in the day we stayed in Conroe Friday night. Drove the extra 1.5 hours Saturday morning.

You will just have to be willing to drive an hour+ back towards home for a room. I have done it, totally worth it, just need a DD.
