Will be in how ready the team will be v ole piss. Miles never had LSU ready to play them (among others). Less talented ole piss teams played up and wanted to win more. They always want to beat us and miles coached teams act like it was not a big game. We shall see.

Now this is just stupid. LSU was never ready to play Ole Miss? Not one time under Miles?

He sure had them ready two years in DV when they came in ranked # 3. But, what was the classic LM in that game? Should have won by 4 tds but instead had 4 TO and couldn't convert in the red zone. Won 10-3. I don't see that happening this time.

I seem to remember kneeling and running the clock out on Ole Miss in almost the 3rd quarter with Miles

I actually agree with this. I remember watching those games PARTICULARLY the 2013 game at Ole Miss, and thinking, "these kids don't get it, at all, and Ole Miss does". Hopefully O instills a deep sense of pride and spirited rivalry for this matchup. Same needs to happen for the Arkansas game. Razorbacks REALLY like that trophy.

How old are you? No matter the coach, no matter the records, Ole Miss and Arkansas play LSU likes its the freaking Superbowl.

I sort of agree. I don't think it will be so much ole miss, but how Miles was somewhat known (or at least it seemed) to not have his teams as prepared in the "bigger games". I'm anxious to see, now that we have a solid opponent, how the team comes out. From start to finish. Are they prepared, how do they start (slow being the recent norm in the past few years in big games).... That first quarter will be telling, IMO. If LSU can come out and set the tone early, not necessarily by scoring a ton of points, is what I am interested to see with the team under new leadership. Game preparation

It doesn't matter who the coach is, Ole Miss and Arkansas can usually get it up when they play LSU. Especially Arkansas. It seems like they get up for the game the way LSU gets up for bama. Since '07 Arkansas hasn't had a team with as much talent as LSU yet they have gone 5-4 over the Tigers in the span.

Of course LSU has dominated both of these rivalries but these games are usually going to be close. If Coach O can't get the guys up for Ole Miss in Tiger Stadium at night, then nobody can.

We have earned their best shot and they haven't earned ours. I think that's the bottom line.
