Joe alleva has mismanaged LSU into a position of weakness and embarassment. Alleva has said that he did not comment on Les' future with LSU because of a standing policy of not commenting until the regular season is over. If this policy is the reason he didn't comment then I believe his policy is the reason why Felipe Franks left the program. Alleva has to go because his inability to be decisive has been detrimental to our program's national image.
Second, I will be forever grateful to Les for continuing to build LSU into a recruiting powerhouse. However, les has lost 4 consecutive games to AL, has lost two straight to Arkansas and Ole miss, and has lost 4 of his last 6 bowl games.
We need to replace les because his offense is outdated and in need of a true QB.

Alleva did nothing he said he wouldn't do.

He said, "I will not make a comment on the coach until after the season". When he sat is pissed off arse on the podium last night he repeated I wouldn't say anything to after the season, last night was the end of the season, and he commented on Les Miles.

HOLY shite.. Crazy right. Amazing how you sunshine pumpers are now putting all this crap on Alleva now. He doesn't control the media, the media is trying to sell airtime, so they are just running their mouths to get viewers. He doesn't control recruits decisions, that's how programs get fined and lose scholarships. Franks hasn't committed anywhere else so calm y'alls shite.

It's not the media's fault for talking about the story, when you go no comment for 2 weeks and leave your coach to fend for himself to the press. He treated Les like shite for no real reason other to buy time for himself to make a decision. Any coach that we now look to hire will have this whole event in their mind when considering LSU as a destination.

What should Alleva have said during this two week period? Should he have lied about what was going on or go into detail about what a piece of work Miles is?

Les brought this shite on himself by his own weak performance as a head coach.

Franks watched a highly touted QB regress over 11 games. Cant blame the kid for wanting to perfect his craft. Would you go to business school at Harvard or ITI?

What a piece of work miles is? Explain yourself, because while I do not like or agree with Mile's offense game planning, all reports from everyone indicate that miles is a good man who seems to speak his mind. I don't see miles as the type to play games with the administration, he has been on good terms with the NCAA and the SEC officials, he has not screwed a coed like many big program coaches have in the past, I have never heard of him belittling or physically attacking a player. Tell me why he is a piece of work to alleva

I've never really seen anything like that in 40 years of watching football.

I cannot recall a head coach being "treated" like it was his last game, carried off the field, standing ovations etc and then keeping his job. Maybe it has played out that way before at other schools but I know I don't recall it.

That's my only thought about last night really. The rest of you can bang your heads against the wall with the rest of the who's to blame shite.

But I just can't recall seeing anything like I saw last night before. Quite interesting IMO

It's weirded me out. I thought for sure he was done after watching that, and thought that's a great way to go out.

Same here. The on field interviews before the game, the way the crowd treated him, the post game stuff. Just all of it. Everything that transpired said "This is Les last game as LSU head coach". Everything. But it wasn't
