The Clemson Tigers are 34-2 in their last 36 games. One loss came to Alabama in the 2015 National Championship game. The other loss came last year to the University of Pittsburgh.

By a similar comparison, the LSU Tigers are 25-12 the last 3 seasons (27-13 L40 games).

One has trended up quickly and has managed to stay there. The other has trended down and unfortunately, has managed to stay there.

Missouri and Auburn aren't national title contenders, something LSU Tigers fans aspire for their team to be year in and year out.

Auburn has appeared in a BCS championship game since LSU has and LSU hasn't been anything close to a contender since 1/9/12.
