admittedly, I only saw bits and pieces of the Aubie/J.Ville State game. Most of the bits I saw were when J.Ville St. was on offense. They were making the Auburn defense look silly for a good amount of he plays I saw.

With our run game going I think we'll be fine, and I have faith that we won't have to check out of as many pass plays (however it doesn't matter to me, as long as we win the game)

My question is about Jeremy Johnson, I know he's been a turnover machine early, but is he more of a mobile QB who can run well, or is he a pocket guy who gets rattled if you make him move around?

I'll hang up and listen, it's Auburn week. Let's fricking talk about our opponent and not kill ourselves nitpicking.

Johnson can run, but he isn't an elite athlete like Marshall was, he would like to pass before he can run

and he has sucked reading defenses so far this year...like really bad

When I think of rattled I think of General Lee his redshirt freshman year. Johnson doesn't get rattled, he just makes poor decisions in general. He has mobile ability but not like a Dak or Harris.

good to know. I heard my brother talking about the game before ours last weekend and he was saying Jeremy Johnson could barely play at home, how the hell did he expect to play well in Death Valley.

I guess now I know what he meant.

He can apparently run, but more straight line running like Jordan Jefferson did.. minus some athleticism. I don't imagine our front 7 will be allowing much of that.

He throws into coverage when pressured, and not very successfully.

We stacked. He fricked.

JJ looked like he doesn't move through progressions if one of his guys is running a route that he likes. He will just stare his receiver down and then throw it no matter what. Led to some awful passes that were just downright embarrassing.

I think Johnson will be a good QB. He's pretty fearless throwing the ball, and the pass that he made to tie the game in the 4th was elite.

Gus let's him sling it, and that's hurt them early. I think he'll get better and better as the season progresses. I can see AU with 4 losses, but I can also see them with 2 losses with improved play all around.

In the end, AU's biggest problem will be their defense and not Johnson's play.

He can't run it or pass it as well as Dak

I think Auburn is in trouble with JJ

That system needs someone to handle the 3 options at

least per play - I think his reads are slow making

it all slow down for the team - he miss reads and

throws int's - will he get better - not till he

shows it - he is not a pocket passer

He's been confused by basic zone coverages. Can you imagine what's gonna go through his head when he sees a stunt or a 3-4 man blitz coming at him! Key and Beckwith are gonna crack that egg
