Yep. mett’s redshirt should have been pulled off and got all the bowl practice reps for 1/9.

Be careful, on the new Snowflake Rant you aren’t allowed to give honest criticism of a former player who was almost universally despised by posters here when he was playing. You could hurt someone’s precious feelings.

Guys like JJ and Jennings should have been running a lot of gun triple option stuff with backs like Scott, Williams, Ridley, Ware, Ford, Hilliard, Fournette, Guice, Magee

Jordan beat Saban twice in his career. How many college qbs have that claim nationwide?

Are we really going to claim JJ beat Bama now?

Agreed. I liked Jordan and think he and Lee could have been at least Matt Mauck quality with a competent coach.

Agreed. They all played/play their hearts out for LSU.

Les should get the blame for 1/9, not Jordan.
He completed like 65% of the called passes on the run that terrible night.
Now 1st half of 2010, and 2011 SECCG he was pretty bad.
Still, he's like one of 3 or 4 QBs with 2 Ws vs Gumps in LSU history, and pretty sure he's on a real short list of QBs with 2 Ws over SEC Saban.

Mathieu got kicked off the team 100% because of Mathieu. He'd tell you the same.

Jordan and Reuben Randle. This is what led to the 1/9/12 debacle. Saban prepared a new gameplan for these two and CLM was not ready for it. Saban committed double coverage to RR pretty much the whole game and took him away. Then he took JJ's legs away and made him pass from the pocket which was not his forte.

I mean maybe you can claim that in 2010 but 2011 hell no he didn’t. He looked completely rattled in both games. He threw for a combined 110yds in two games. People want to blame Miles for this and for that but the fact of the matter is LM let the QB’s he was comfortable with throwing, throw the ball in his tenure at LSU. They just didn’t recruit that many good quarterbacks. JJ has a terrible attitude and it showed on the field. It’s ok to be honest and still appreciate what their family has done for the football program.

2010 he was 10/14 for 141 and 1 TD
2011 he was 6/10 for 67

2011 Jarret Lee was 3/7 with 2 picks and JJ came in to save his arse.

I’m talking about in 2011 solely. Those 2 games. Yea he saved him but the defense won that game not JJ. If he had played the whole game I don’t really think the score would have been much different. He’s just not a good QB plain and simple

If JJ doesn't come in, we lose bigly. JL was scared shitless.

The second game was just a set up of the whole team for failure by miles.
