I refuse to believe this. The rant and the media laughed at Dabo only like 5 or 6 years ago. Nobody wanted him bc he was just a recruiter and cheerleader. No way could he do well as head coach.

Finebaum looks so distraught and sounds heartbroken lmao.

The world is one big Clemson Tiger fan this morning.

Saban is an a-hole and still can't stop the spread.

Happy New Year!!!

That is EXACTLY right! Former WR coach, promoted to interim HC, and then finally HC.

I'm betting CEO and his staff watched some of the game last night and took some tibdits from the CU execution. Clemson played D like LSU did. They ran to the ball, tackled well and kept the pressure up. The game was decided by the best player on the field, the QB, and it simply reinforces we MUST get better at that pos to compete for championships. ALL the talent in the world in the trenches still does not hide deficiencies at qb.

Keep charging Tigers (LSU of course)!

Was Dabo an abject failure as a permanent head coach who was then demoted back to position coach only to be promoted again?

You do realize Dabo is far and away the exception?

I hope you are right just the same.

Who the shite is Matt? Also, I'm sorry for bringing facts into the equation. I want nothing more than for LSU to be relevant again and compete for championships, but it's not like I'm just making things up to be concerned about.

I don't really care about Clemson winning a national title. I'm glad Bama didn't win another but I'm not going to throw a ticker tape parade for it like most on here.

And it's impossible to even consider that Orgeron has grown as a head coach and learned from things along the way isn't it?

No way that could happen bc coaches never improve over the years.

Last thing, until last night, do you know you gave bama their best test all year?? If your boy les had something beyond a junior high playbook we may have managed to score a few points and won.

Keep being a negative douche

Nope, it's certainly possible. Probable even. But we have nothing to go off of besides brief interim stints that weren't exactly earth-shattering.

LSU. I don't disagree with any of this.

Saban hated bringing in Pete's boys to save his butt. It worked one year. It's now over, the wicket witch is dead and Dorothy is coming home.

lets give our position coach at least one game

love he locked up Aranda

love he signed Canada

love he is pulling in what could be our best ever DL recruits - some great late news is expected on DL and Lbers

can't wait for the spring game and I assure you if we have good weather we will break attendance records

Now that Saban has yet again lost to a spread offense with a dual threat QB at helm, maybe LSU fans can stop being so got damn stubborn on the subject.

You want to beat Saban, Etling isn't the answer, and hopefully Canada runs a true spread offense. His pre-snap motion game has me very excited for the future.
