A positive thing regarding NFL draft early exodus

LSU has been killed since 2011 with early entries. Before the 2012 season LSU finished in the top 8 5/7 times and top 5 4/7 times. That means we were in playoff contention 5 out of 7 times. Those other two years were terrible because of QB play. This is promising because as long as we get above average QB play we should be in the playoff conversation now that the NFL draft early exodus has ended.

What we get spared on the draft, the LSU compliance department will take care of. Already lost two starters for next year in Robinson and Jones.

True, but our compliance department thinks it is competing against Harvard, not the SEC.

It seems like we had a particularly young team this year due to all the early exits. It was likely just part of the cycle for us not to lose that much this year.
