I think most people here are pro-LSU but not necessarily pro-Les Miles. Some ranters maybe can't stand him and some may think he is an OK coach but he is in way over his head. Anyway, Negatiger is the wrong term IMO. There has to be a better term. Suggestions please. Also, there has to be a term for the Miles worshippers.

For better or worse (depending on your view), LM is the captain of the Tiger ship. Spin it how you like, you cannot be all over his arse all the time and NOT be a Negatiger.

there is a group that is pretty anti-LSU from a wide variety of angles...academics, tv commercials, athletic directors, associate athletic directors, most current and former coaches from most sports, most decisions ever made in relation to athletics, TOPS, etc., etc., etc.

most are probably graduates who would rather blame LSU for their failures vs. taking any sort of personal responsibility

I wouldn't even go that far - this is a smaller issue - wanting to be an internet bad arse and winning arguments.

They predict gloom and if they are wrong then they can always do the "aw shucks - boy am I glad I was wrong and geaux tigers".

ALL PEOPLE WHO SAY IT IS "WRONG" to criticize LSU coaches or the program are just too stupid or too young to actually know anything about "FREEDOM" of SPEECH.
So as an LSU FAN if I want to CRITICIZE ANYONE associated with the program. It is my right and RESPONSIBILITY as an alumni - paying my tuition and sitting in the stands for the past 35 years as a season ticket holder (21) to do so.
ONCE AGAIN ALL PEOPLE WHO USE THE TERM "NEGA" GROW UP! SO WHAT IF PEOPLE CRITICIZE US.
IT IS OK TO CRITISIZE LSU!!! Some of you need to move to other places and experience other places to understand passionate fan basis.

who are these Miles worshippers you speak of? hell, just because someone views him for what he has accomplished, they're drug through the mud around here. if the man was a great public speaker, his rep would be much higher. i, for one, want a coach and not a public speaker; we have politicians for that.

AGAIN, my point exactly. If I don't want to use it so what. Make a real point about what I said otherwise, why comment at all?

ForeLSU, you may have hit on something (although it sounds a little strong). hell, i worked my way through LSU back in the late 60's and am damn proud of my degree. it brought me places i never dreamed of. i support the school more than the football program. but don't get me wrong; i love lsu sports too, esp football and baseball. and if anyone doesn't support TOPS, i just don't know what i can say except that sounds incredibly stupid. sure wish it had been around when i was a student.

I should find another image for that.

@JakeTigger

Using the bold and italics (buttons on the right)to emphasize makes it easier to read and isn't that the whole point of posting your thoughts - so that someone would read it.

Don't go hunting for shadows where none exist - I was not trying to make a malicious joke.

Jaketigger, take it easy. critisism if fine; it's just HOW it's done sometimes. everything miles does and everything lsu does is wrong. sure, one has the right to critisize but one has the right to rebut also. if i think the said critisism is misguided and speak up that makes me stupid and young?

OK, you pro-les guys should have nothing whatsoever to say about Gary Crowton being here next year as you guys exhibit the mentality of Les Miles. Gary Crowton is the "captain of the Offense ship" and Les Miles being of a posi-tiger mentality does nothing about it regardless of performance because he is a pro-team guy and doesn't want to call out one person.

Les Miles is accountable to the fans. Les Miles doesn't perform, Les is still viewed highly by the posi-tiger because they view him as part of the team and have trouble identifying the true problem and if they were able to identify the problem definitely don't want to isolate the problem.

People it is time for some accountability here! The further you fall, the longer it takes to get back up!
