As a member of a growing generation of tiger fans for whom Ole Miss has been as relevant to college football as teeth are to the mouths of bama fans, I feel like we should transfer our "geaux to hell" chant to the tahd. I loathe Ole Miss as much as the next guy, but honestly can't fathom hating them more than the team we play tomorrow night. Besides, "Geaux to Hell, Alabama, Geaux to Hell" just flows so naturally.

Thoughts?

1. Doesn't fit
2. No

And I'm a student at LSU before you call me "old"

I said that to a Gump last tues in the quarter and his response was classic gumptard " we will go to hell, up your arse". All I could do was laugh.

Not really.

Geaux to hell Ole Miss Geaux to Hell (8 syllables)

Geaux to hell Al-a-bam-a Geaux to Hell (10 syllables)

It just doesn't fit as well as Ole Miss.

This could work:

Geaux to hell, Bam-a, Geaux to Hell (8 syllables)

It's still more syllables genius, just because you typed it differently doesn't make it have less syllables.

Alabama ALWAYS has four syllables

Yea freek that'd work better, at least you have a concept of what a syllable is and how that doesn't change in a word. ever.

Thanks for clearing that up. I suppose you also stress all four syllables, right. You always say Al-A-Bam-A? How badly do you struggle to converse?

I say Ala-Bama, but it still has 4 syllables, therefor it still doesn't fit in a cheer that is designed for 8 syllables (not 10). Freek offered you a perfectly valid alternative, I suggest you take it.
