Disclaimer: These statistics were essentially compiled by dividing the production per reciever the first 8 games versus the last 6 games - which is pretty accurate given that Lee played almost 0 snaps after the Alabama game and JJ had almost 0 receptions before (and after) the Alabama game.

R.Randall--------OBJ-----------R.Shep----D.Peterson
JL - 79.75-------41.75-----------25.2------------17.12
JJ - 46.60-------23.50-----------12.3 ------------7.60

Apart from the obvious diff in pass yardage, I find it interesting that each reciever recieved the ball near the same distribution. Take it for what you want - its compiled by recieving yards per game.

distribution is based on the playcalling and who the hot route was. What it tells me is that JL is the better passer (not rocket science).

It's also skewed, because JJ's games are against Bama, UGA, Arky, Ole Miss, WKU, Bama....JL's are Oregon, NWSt, Miss St., WVU, Kentucky, Florida, Tenn, and Auburn. That is a massive difference in the level of defensive play.

Bottom line is netiher QB was great, we are all left with "what ifs", and I can't wait for March 31st so we can watch the spring game and focus on stuff we can control.
