The Big 12's version of a jarring hit is an ankle tackle. I remember watching the opening game in Stillwater in 09 with OSU and UGA. GA was repeatedly called for unnecessary roughness on hits we consider normal (but fun to watch). If the girly league officials do that on Saturday it could be a long game

Didn't an Oregon game get screwed up with big12 officials? Only the SEC officials are worse.

So it should be a better game for LSU.

I don't think you will see to much favoritism towards the sec when it comes to ooc games. The whole sec has a target on it's back

You know, I was talking with a longhorn fan, and he complained about their game against bama saying that in the big12 they don't hit the qb and that bama was cheap by hitting their qb.

I laughed at him about it but maybe you have a point. At least as far as they think.

Exactly right. SEC officials have screwed us enough we welcome other officials.

bullshite, the calls on Georgia were all helmet to helmet, which gets called in the SEC

Proof

This may have been head to chest, but you cant lead with the crown of your helmet.

Actually if u slow it down the helmet turns to the left side and it's a shoulder hit

But you cant launch your self at a defender. It's NCAA rules, not that I like the rule

And I dont care if you were there. Unless you were on the field, you didnt have a better look at it then the zoomed up replay in the video.

Slow motion I might add. Was it slow motion at the game?

It is still a penalty that was correctly called, but not for helmet to helmet. The player launched himself into the defenseless WR. You cannot launch yourself at a player like that to make a tackle.

It may go uncalled at times in the SEC unless an opponent of BAMA or Auburn does it to one of their players, but it is most definitely a penalty by the rules and the spirit of the rules.

He didnt launch himself, he ran full speed, wrapped up, and didnt lead with his head.

Keep trying
